Steve Reich - “Selection X” (Music for 18 Musicians)
Floored me today with headphones in design class. I had a little moment imagining him shaking hands with Umberto Boccioni and Wassily Kandinsky. They would all nod slightly in understanding. The whole CD is incredible.
There is hardly anything more immediately exciting than deep strings and harmony for me.
